This model simulates the swarming behavior of animals (e.g., birds or fish). The swarms depicted in this model are not initiated or led by specific animals. Rather, each animal follows exactly the same simple rules from which the swarms emerge – hence, the resulting swarms are an example of the concept of emergence.
