Data privacy and research consent

Dear OpenEvo participant,

For the last twenty years, the Max-Planck-Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology has conducted a wide range of research to advance our understanding of the behaviors, minds, and cultures of humans in relation to many other species on our planet.

OpenEvo is an educational innovation project of the Department of Comparative Cultural Psychology. Our aim is to cultivate open educational resources for students and scientists at all stages of learning. We invite you to join us, perhaps first as a student, but ultimately as a collaborator in developing this space as a global public good.

For this reason, we wish to document our collaboration with you as you develop your skills on this platform. All of this documentation will be kept strictly anonymous and helps us directly improve how we develop this public resource.

We appreciate it if you would contribute to this educational research simply by participating in our online community. Therefore, we would like to ask you to mark your agreement to the  consent form below. With your signature, you agree to take part in our program, and that anonymized documentation of our collaboration may be used in scientific, educational, or informational settings. None of your personal data will be ever be shared with third parties.

If you ever wish to withdraw your consent, you can do so through the data removal request within your personal profile on the platform. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time:
