Target evaluation
In this method, learners talk in different groups about specific problems or questions. The aim is to get them talking to each other as easily as possible, just like in a cafe.

Instruction
- The teacher prepares a target (for example on a poster on the board or digitally on a Power Point or an interactive board). There are five circles on the target. The entire circle can be divided into four or eight areas.
- The different areas are labelled with the aspects on which the students should give feedback (e.g. learning atmosphere, relevant content, personal learning progress, teamwork, etc.).
- Students can now rate these areas by drawing a cross or a dot in the respective circle: a dot in the outermost circle is the lowest rating, a dot in the centre is the highest rating.
- Instead of a dot or cross, the students can also use magnets or stickers to give their rating. If the target is digital, the evaluation should also be marked digitally (for example with pens on the interactive whiteboard).
- At the end, the group analyses the feedback together and possibly draws conclusions for subsequent work processes.
