As technologies have improved and have spread faster between people and regions, more and more people have come to live in better living conditions, with better food, better healthcare, and improved sanitation throughout history. For these reasons, the average life expectancy of humans in the last century increased more and more.

On a global scale, relatively few people die today due to infectious diseases, birth complications, accidents, malnutrition, or natural disasters, although these causes are still prevalent in some regions. These facts contributed to the increase in the world population.

The Goal 1 of Global Sustainable Development Goals is to eradicate poverty in the world by 2030.

Although poverty in the world has fallen in the last 30 years, today more than 800 million people still live in extreme poverty, i.e. they have to get by with less than $ 1.90 a day.

Will all people in the future have sufficient access to high quality food, medical care, electricity, drinking water and sanitation? Will life expectancy continue to increase?

What can we do to povide equally godd living conditions for all? What can we do to make these living conditions globally sustainable?

The Goal 3 of Global Sustainable Development Goals is to ensure a healthy life for all people of all ages and to promote their well-being.

Although life expectancy has increased in almost all countries over the last 100 years, in Africa it is still about 20 years lower than in Europe.

The Goal 6 of the Global Sustainable Development Goals is to ensure the availability of water and sanitation for all by 2030 and to sustainably manage water resources.

Goal 7 of the Global Sustainable Development Goals is to secure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all by 2030.
